LAMINATED SAFETY GLASS

Two- or more-layer glass structure the sheets of which are held
together with high tear resistance, flexible PVB foil.

If broken, the glass sheet is held together by the internal foil,
preventing the fragments from causing injuries. This kind off glass
is made in flat ant bent construction, with or without screen-printing.

Major physical parameters: Bending and breaking strength: 30-40 MN/m2 Penetration strength: 85 N mm Heat resistence: max. 100oC, max. of 120 min.

Depending on the number of layers, foil thickness, glass thickness
and the symmetry of the compund..

Available dimensions: Thickness of glass: 4 - 33 mm Smallest: 200 x 400 mm Largest:    1605 x 2000 mm (flat)    1610 x 2500 mm (bent)

Possible areas of application:

Windscreens for motor vehicles, heavy machinery and railways cars;
for architectural purposes (inner and outer glass), furniture, as well as
for table sheets.
